The design approach draws from classic proportions and Mediterranean influenced detailing, reinterpreted through a clean, modern lens. Throughout the apartment, herringbone timber flooring establishes a sense of continuity and craftsmanship, grounding each space with warmth and texture. Natural light is carefully framed using timber shutter systems, allowing the interiors to respond to the changing daylight while adding architectural depth to elevations.

Bedrooms are designed as calm and restorative spaces, combining soft upholstery, layered textiles and elegant ceiling roses paired with statement chandeliers. These elements introduce a subtle sense of heritage while remaining light and contemporary. The children’s spaces are playful yet controlled, using bespoke bunk structures, soft colour accents and tactile finishes to create rooms that are functional, imaginative and adaptable as the family grows.

Bathrooms and utility spaces adopt a restrained palette of stone inspired finishes, fluted surfaces and warm brass fittings. Niches are integrated seamlessly into walls to enhance storage and visual clarity, while lighting is carefully concealed to accentuate material texture and form. The living and dining areas are composed to feel open yet intimate, with bespoke joinery, integrated media units and carefully scaled furniture reinforcing a sense of balance and ease. Across the apartment, Shoa’s fitout execution ensures precision detailing, concealed services and a cohesive material narrative from room to room.
